RCMP are active around Pritchard Road east of Cranbrook, as they look to track down a suspect that allegedly fled on foot from a stolen vehicle.
Cranbrook RCMP said they are searching for a man in the immediate area around Pritchard Road.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance to report any suspicious people that may be in the area.
As a point of caution, RCMP are asking that the public avoid picking up any hitchhikers.
