Drunk driver takes out several power poles in Kimberley

Kimberley RCMP says a drunk driver had their licence suspended when they struck several power poles.

Police officials say officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision along Highway 95A between Kimberley and Marysville on Friday, April 11.

The driver went off the road and collided with several power poles before coming to a stop.

Police say the driver showed signs of alcohol impairment, which resulted in a 90-day driving prohibition.
