District of Sparwood staff are asking residents to stay off of the community ice surfaces until work is completed.
The outdoor ice surfaces are under construction, but district staff are hoping they will be ready soon if the weather permits.
They say it’s important to stay off the rink and skating loop because skating could damage the liner and uneven surfaces are dangerous.
The district will post on their website and social media once both surfaces are up and running.
