The City of Fernie will be implementing a new permit tracking software to streamline the permitting process.
City staff say the new software Cloudprint will make it easier for builders, developers, businesses and residents to complete the entire building and development permit process online.
Once launched, the platform will be available around the clock and will allow users to easily submit permit applications and inspection requests while speeding up the process.
City staff say the program is expected to go live in the spring.
