The two top teams in the Eddie Mountain Division will face off on Tuesday in Invermere.
“It’s going to be good. We haven’t seen Columbia Valley since the second game of the year,” said Kimberley Dynamiters head coach Derek Stuart.
“They are definitely a threat to win our division and win the entire league so it’s going to be a good test for us.”
Columbia Valley Rockies head coach Tayler Sincennes says matches like this are a good tool to see where they stack against the top competition.
“It’s going to be a good test for our group. I know we played them in our first weekend of the year and that one fell our way but our next five games are against in-division opponents,” he added.
“The next couple of weeks here will be a good measuring stick to see where we’re at and see where the competitive juices get flowing.”
The Kimberley Dynamiters are atop the Eddie Mountain Division with a 10-2-1 record.
The Rockies are close behind with an 8-4 record.
Puck drop will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
