Residents looking to take some trips down the Elk River will be out of luck on certain days in September.
The Morrissey boat launch will be fully closed to the public from Sept. 9-13.
There will be limited access between Sept. 2-8 and Sept. 14-15.
The work is part of Tourism Fernie’s work to improve the site by adding a full launch and an informational kiosk.
