$5The Rolling Barrage 2024: Riding Across Canada to Support Veterans and First Responders
Everyone is invited to join the riders for a fundraising event in Cranbrook on Thursday, August 15th at 5:30pm. The event will be held at the Cranbrook Legion, located at the Heritage Inn and Convention Centre.
The Rolling Barrage, a nationwide motorcycle ride dedicated to raising awareness and funds for veterans and first responders, is gearing up for its 2024 journey across Canada. This annual event, now in its 8th year, has become a symbol of solidarity and support for those who have and continue to serve our country.
The Rolling Barrage aims to bring attention to the challenges faced by veterans and first responders, including issues related to mental health and transition to civilian life. Participants ride from coast to coast, stopping in communities along the way to connect with supporters and raise funds.
The Rolling Barrage is not just a ride; it’s a movement and a life-changing journey that brings forth positive strengths, courage, resiliency, friendship, and understanding. It’s about honoring our veterans and first responders, raising awareness about their sacrifices, and providing tangible support through the funds raised.
Funds raised from The Rolling Barrage support various programs and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of veterans and first responders.
The Rolling Barrage is proud to see the impact of their efforts each year. The generosity of the riders and supporters enables them to make a real difference in the lives of those who have dedicated themselves to serving our communities and our country.
The Rolling Barrage 2024 will kick off on Saturday, July 27th in St Johns, Newfoundland and will conclude on Saturday, August 17th in Aldergrove, BC. Supporters are encouraged to register and join the ride along the route, attend local events, and contribute to the cause.
