Kimberley RCMP has recovered a dead body suspected to be a man who was reported as missing earlier this month.
Police officials said the detachment received a call on Friday, July 19 reporting what was suspected to be a person in Mark Creek, near Kimberley’s downtown core.
Kimberley RCMP found the man’s body and believed it to be Jonathan Scott Allen, who was reported missing on June 28.
Kimberley RCMP said they do not suspect any criminality involved in Allen’s death.

Police were assisted by local Search and Rescue as well as the BC Coroner’s Service.
Victim Services is providing support to the family.
