Two properties south of Island Pond are on evacuation order while an additional 65 in the Premier Lake area are on alert due to the Island Pond fire.
The residents of 3200 and 3204 Highway 93/95 are to leave the area immediately.
All properties north of Premier Lake Road, including properties along the north and west sides of Premier Lake, on the East side of Highway 93/95 are included in the alert.
The same goes for all properties south of the Ram Creek Ecological Reserve, from the bottom of the Rocky Mountains to Highway 93/95.
Residents will be given as much notice as possible, but you should be prepared to leave at any time.
The RDEK has issued a State of Local Emergency for Electoral Area E and Electoral Area F.

It was discovered on July 20 and is believed to be lightning-caused.
