Police are still looking for the vehicle driven by a man accused of a ‘weapons incident’ near Baynes Lake last week.
Police said the 39-year-old man was arrested and remanded into custody until his court appearance.
However, the vehicle he was suspected of using has not been found.
“Investigators are hoping a member of the public may come across it and call Police,” said Cpl. James Grandy, BC RCMP spokesperson.
“Given the extent of damage it sustained, it will stick out.”
RCMP officials said the vehicle is described as an older model dark grey Ford F-150 with a headache rack, camouflage along the sides, and heavy damage to the windshield and front end.
It was last seen with B.C. license plate S-M-9-7-4-0.
If you find the vehicle, you should call the Elk Valley RCMP at (250) 423-4404.
