Bucks hire new assistant coach

The Cranbrook Bucks have hired Kelvin Cech to be the team’s new assistant coach.

Cech will also serve as head coach for the Bucks’ U18 academy.

“I am thrilled to join the culture created and maintained by Ryan Donald, Nathan Lieuwen and the entire Bucks organization,” said Cech.

“The opportunity to work with the players returning to the Kootenay Hockey Academy and the new ones coming in is the perfect fit for me on a personal and professional level. Hockey in the mountains is on the rise and I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute.”
