The City of Kimberley is under Stage 2 water restrictions as a proactive measure due to low snowpack and an expected dry summer.
Under Stage 2, even-numbered home addresses can water on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while odd-numbered ones can water on Thursdays and Sundays.
Watering hours are between 4-10 a.m. and 6-10 p.m.
Non-residential properties are a little different. Even numbered properties can water on Wednesdays and odd-numbered on Thursdays between 1-6 a.m.
City staff said blylaw will be closely monitoring compliance and failure to follow the restrictions could result in a fine.
Residents and businesses are urged to explore other ways to conserve water year-round.
