A section of alley between 9th Avenue South and 10th Avenue South in Cranbrook’s downtown area will be closed while crews install a storm sewer line.
City officials said work will begin on Tuesday, as contractors work to connect a storm sewer line to the new Ktunaxa Health Centre.
Construction equipment will take up space in the alley, so vehicle access will be cut off until the job is finished.
Drivers can still use the City lot at the corner of 9th Avenue South and 1st Street South behind St. Mary’s Parish.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area as much as possible and be aware of any posted signs.
