General manager Jeff Chynoweth and the Calgary Hitmen have decided to mutually part ways.
Chynoweth was the Kootenay Ice’s GM from 2002-2017.
He joined the Hitmen after the team was sold to Greg Fette and Matt Cockell.
He’s been with the Hitmen for six years.

“Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation would like to thank Jeff for his six years with the Hitmen and wish him success moving forward,” said Hitmen vice president and governor Mike Moore.
The hitmen finished seventh in the Eastern Conference last season and were knocked out in the first round of the playoffs.
