Members of the Baynes Lake, Elko and Jaffray Fire Departments are fighting a grassfire in the Baynes Lake area.
RDEK officials said the fire is approximately three hectares and growing just off Kikomun Road near the intersection of Baynes Lake Dump Road.
The fire is visible from the surrounding area, but there is no word yet on the cause.
15 firefighters and 8 pieces of apparatus are battling the blaze.

You’re asked to stay away from the area and watch out for water tenders shuttling water to the site.
According to the RDEK, no homes or structures are at risk at this time.
