Columbia Valley RCMP is investigating two thefts reported that saw a combined total of about $20,000 in various items stolen.
Police officials said both incidents happened in Invermere and were called in on Tuesday, Nov. 15th.
Officials said it was believed that over $10,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from Canadian Tire on Friday, Nov, 11th.
Police are reviewing video surveillance footage as the investigation continues.
That same day, Columbia Valley RCMP received a report of another theft.
This time, officials said a window was smashed on a work truck parked near Invermere’s Third Avenue.
The suspects got away with approximately $10,000 worth of construction tools.
