Columbia Valley RCMP has arrested two people for multiple offences after they attempted to break into a home near Radium Hot Springs.
Police officials said the detachment was alerted to the interrupted break and enter around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday.
The suspects were reportedly attempting to enter a home on Westside Road, Near Radium Hot Springs.
Motion-activated cameras alerted the homeowner of the attempted intrusion, but the three people fled the property when they were confronted by a neighbour.
RCMP officials said an officer at the scene was able to locate two suspects with the help of a police dog.
A man and woman, who were hiding nearby, were arrested for a number of offences and held in custody.
Police know the identity of the third suspect, and have requested a warrant for her arrest.
