Kimberley RCMP seeking election sign vandal

Kimberley RCMP is asking the public for information regarding a suspect responsible for vandalizing several election signs.

Police officials say the detachment received a report on Wednesday, March 26, of several Conservative Party election signs being vandalized around the community overnight.

So far, Kimberley RCMP has noted three damaged signs: one along Wallinger Avenue by Save on Foods, one near Church Avenue and another in Meadowbrook.

Investigators believe the vandalism was done by the same suspect or suspects.

“The Kimberley RCMP have obtained video surveillance of a person of interest riding an e-bike or motorbike near Save on Foods just before 11 p.m. on the evening of March 25, 2025, that investigators would like to speak with,” said police officials.

Anyone with information on the suspect in the photo or any surveillance footage in the above locations can contact the Kimberley RCMP at 250-427-4811 and quote file number 2025-2385.
