Conservative Party of BC leader John Rustad will be joining local MLAs to hear from residents and answer questions at a meet and greet scheduled for February 6 at the Prestige Inn.
“We wanted to give everyone an opportunity to talk with us and ask some questions,” said Kootenay-Rockies MLA Pete Davis.
“It’s going to be a town hall at the Prestige Inn here in Cranbrook from 7-9 p.m.”
Columbia River-Revelstoke residents are also invited as MLA Scott McInnis will be in attendance.
“We’re inviting anyone from Columbia River Revelstoke or Kootenay Rockies to come on down to the Prestige and ask some questions, be part of what’s going on and learn a bit about the Conservative Party of BC,” Davis added.
He says this will give them some stuff to work with once the spring legislature sitting begins.
“We’re going to be going back to legislature on Feb. 18 so we want some things to make sure we’re holding this government accountable,” Davis said.
Admission to the event is free.
