Cranbrook RCMP arrested a man for an attempted robbery in Wycliffe.
Police officials say the detachment responded to a report of an unknown man with a gun outside a home shortly after 1 a.m. on Thursday, January 30.
Officers rushed to the scene and saw the suspect flee on foot when they arrived, but he was quickly found and arrested.
The man was held for Court and later released with another court appearance on Feb 18.
Cranbrook RCMP is recommending nine charges against the man, including robbery, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, mischief and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Police officials say the suspect was known to the occupants and believed to have been a targeted incident.
