Booking to open for new Wycliffe Regional Park Campground

Campers will have a new park to visit as the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) gets set to open bookings for the Wycliffe Regional Park Campground.

“We are excited to be able to offer this camping option to the public,” said RDEK Recreation and Control Services Supervisor Jamie Davies.

“We have a top-rated 18-hole disc golf course, hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, bocce and horseshoe pits, ball fields, and fire pits. This new campground will make it easier for residents and visitors to enjoy those amenities even more.”

The RDEK says the campground features 20 unserviced campsites, with 12 for tents or smaller trailers and eight pull-through sites for longer trailers.

The campground will be open from mid-May to September each year.

“We live in a beautiful part of the world and these campsites will allow residents and visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery, and amenities offered at Wycliffe Regional Park, and explore the surrounding area,” said Davies.

Booking opens on February 15 and you can find information here.
