The Columbia Valley Rockies have their work cut out for them as they prepare to face the Revelstoke Grizzlies.
“They’re the hottest team in the KIJHL right now,” said head coach Tayler Sincennes.
“They’ve won a lot of games in the last month and a half to two months. It will be a really tough test going into that building. It’s always high energy and packed to the brim.”
The Rockies started the week off right with a 4-3 win on Tuesday against the Golden Rockets.
Despite being at the bottom of the Eddie Mountain Division standings, Sincennes says Golden is still a good team.
“They’re a tough test,” he said.
“I know they’ve struggled to win some games but they’re in almost all of the games that they play or push into overtime.”
The Rockies match against the Grizzlies is set for Saturday at 8 p.m.
