Two Cranbrook Bucks players are getting set to travel to Salmon Arm for the BCHL All-Star Game.
Defenceman Bryce Sookro and Goaltender Jaden Cholette will be stepping up to represent the Bucks.
“I’m excited and preparing a little bit this week, but excited to get on the road tomorrow,” said Sookro.
Cholette was a late addition to the all-star game and Sookro says he’s one of the most deserving entries.
“I think he’s the top goalie in the league right now,” he said.
“I’m excited to see what he’s going to do. I’m sure he’s going to shut the door.”
Cholette says it’s easy to be good when playing with Sookro.
“Bryce is one of the best in the league and I’m so glad he’s on my team,” Cholette said.
“He makes my job very easy.”
The all-star weekend runs from Jan. 17 to 19 and will feature a three-on-three all-star game, skills competition, prospects game and alumni game.
