Cranbrook business licences en route

The City of Cranbrook has sent out 2025 business licenses and they should arrive in mailboxes next week.

Business licence fees are $150 and are due as soon as possible.

In December, city council eliminated the prompt payment discount of $25 to help offset costs in staff time required to process licenses.

Licenses are required for any business operation within the boundaries of the City of Cranbrook.

The city is encouraging residents to pay through their ePay online payment portal.

Any changes to the business name, mailing address or business location must be reported to the city.

Businesses that have inter-community business licenses with the City of Kimberley will be getting a separate renewal notice in the mail.
