Kimberley received confirmation from the North Pole that Santa Claus is coming to town on Christmas Eve.
The City announced that the Kimberley Fire Department will escort Jolly Old Saint Nick for his annual tour of the city to spread joy, wonder, and holiday cheer throughout the community.
Children, families and onlookers are asked to keep clear of the parade as it makes its way through the city.
“For the safety of everyone, Santa will not be able to accept treats during his journey this year,” said city staff.
“While we deeply appreciate the kind gestures in past years, it is difficult to see people approaching the truck, so we kindly ask that everyone stay back.”
Kris Kringle will begin his festive journey in Marysville at 4:30 p.m. on December 24.
