Pedestrian struck in motor vehicle collision

A 64-year-old man is in hospital after being struck by a pickup truck in Cranbrook.

The Cranbrook RCMP says the collision happened on Nov. 20 at approximately 4:45 p.m.

A southbound pickup truck collided with the man as he was walking through the crosswalk on Highway 3/95 near 1st Street North.

Police rendered first aid before he was transported to the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

He is being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
