BC Transit looking for feedback on the future of transit in Cranbrook

BC Transit and the City of Cranbrook are looking for public feedback on the future of public transit in the region.

This will be done through a survey, which is available here or in one of the following locations:

  • Cranbrook City Hall – 40 10th Avenue
  • Western Financial Place at the pool desk – 1777 2nd Street North
  • The Cranbrook Public Library – 1212 2nd Street North

The survey comes as the City looks for ways to improve its public transit network.

“The first objective for the short-term is to optimize our transit services and identify improvements or trade-offs that could be made within the existing budget,” said BC Transit officials.

“The plan will also consider opportunities to invest in improvements over the longer-term.”

Information from the survey will be used to create the Transit Future Service Plan, which will cover the next five to seven years of operation.

The survey will be open until December 12 and participants can enter a draw for one of three free annual transit passes.
