The Cranbrook History Centre will be hosting a travelling exhibit showcasing the health challenges astronauts face.
“We’ve had success with a number of special presentations at the history centre and we’re pleased to announce that in January we are partnering with the Canadian Space Agency to host a 12-week exhibit,” said Cranbrook History Centre Chair Keith Powell.
Powell says the Health in Space exhibit demystifies the health challenges faced by astronauts through authentic artifacts and captivating interactive activities.
Powell says they are expecting a good turnout from the public.
“This will appeal to not only our own community but educators and schools from around the Kootenays,” he added.
“We’re anticipating good attendance.”
The exhibit will be in Cranbrook from Jan. 28 to April 19, 2025.
