The Kimberley Dynamiters are hoping to keep up their winning ways as they get set for a West Kootenay road trip.
The Nitros have three wins in a row but have gotten points in their last 11 matches.
The Dynamiters will be starting the weekend off against the Beaver Valley Nitehawks on Friday.
Head coach Derek Stuart is expecting a fight after beating them 5-2 last month.
“It’s a small rink in Beaver Valley against a really good team that I’m sure weren’t too happy with how they played when they came here last month,” he said.
“They will definitely be ready for us.”
The Nitros will then move on to Nelson to face the Leafs.
“Nelson I’m not too sure about,” he added
“They’ve been hot and cold but I’m sure they’ll be ready for us as well.”
The Dynamiters are 13-2-1 on the season and first in the Eddie Mountain Division.
