The Columbia Valley Rockies have their work cut out for them with three games in three nights on the road this weekend.
Head coach Tayler Sincennes says it’s the coaching staff’s job to get the players ready.
“Three unfamiliar opponents too, so it’s going to be a long weekend of travel the three-in-three is always tough and we’ll have to do our best as a coaching staff to prepare for this weekend and get the guys prepared,” he said.
He says these weekends are not ideal but they need to get used to them if they want to make it far in the postseason.
“Handling the travel on the player side of things is going to be tough for them, but it’s a necessary evil if we want to make a deep playoff run,” he said.
“There are going to be trips like this involved so we better get used to it now.”
The Rockies will play the top team in the league on Friday when they face the Princeton Posse, followed by the Osoyoos Coyotes and Grand Forks Border Bruins.
