The Kimberley Dynamiters hit the road for two matches this weekend as they visit the Princeton Posse and Merritt Centennials.
Head coach Derek Stuart says the Posse are always a strong team and they’ll have their work cut out for them.
“I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a very, very good team we’re going to face on Friday in Princeton,” he said.
“It’s not an easy rink to play in and it’s a safe bet that Princeton is going to be a tough opponent.”
He’s not sure what to expect from the Centennials.
“I’m not sure what Merritt has but at this time we’re still focusing on what we need to bring.”
The Nitros will be down a couple of players in tonight’s match, but it’s not injury-related.
“No injuries but a couple of suspensions,” said Stuart.
“Thankfully we got out of last weekend injury-free.”
Forward Tyler Lindal was suspended one game for fighting and forward Ethan Bloomquist was suspended for a game due to a check to the head.
Puck drop is at 8 p.m. Mountain Time for both games.
