Phase 3 of Cranbrook’s lagoon project has kicked off, while the crews wrap up other capital works projects.
The contractor has completed instream work on the lagoon but berm reconstruction hasn’t started.
Rock has been placed on the outside of lagoon three, while work inside lagoon cell two has also started.
Construction of a new berm core is also underway and crews are wrapping up two reconstruction projects.
The 12th Avenue South reconstruction is nearing completion with upgrades, road structure, curbs and gutters installed.
Final sidewalk, road preparation and landscaping will be done over the next few weeks.
The 6th Street South project has had new water main and property services installed and curb and gutter work will begin in mid-September.
