A public meeting will go ahead to discuss a revision on a proposed four-storey residential rental building in Invermere.
The plan was put forward by the Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) in collaboration with the Columbia Valley Métis Association (CVMA).
The proposal would rezone Invermere’s 1102 13th Street to allow the construction of rental housing and a community gathering space.
District of Invermere officials said the MNBC will host the virtual public information meeting and residents will have a chance to learn about the changed proposal and give feedback.
The meeting will happen over Zoom on Tuesday, August 13 from 6 to 7 p.m.
