Bucks sign forward from Nova Scotia

The Cranbrook Bucks have signed forward Maddex Marmulak for the 2024/25 season.

The 16-year-old hails from Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia, and played for Halifax McDonald’s U18 where he tallied 22 goals and 27 assists for 49 points in 32 games.

He earned the Nova Scotia U18 League’s MVP award.

Bucks head coach Ryan Donald said he’s strong at each end of the ice.

“Maddex fits into our culture and our mold perfectly,” Donald added.

“He is a competitive offensive player that has a lot of upside to what he can be in the BCHL. He was an important piece for a top team down the stretch, played key situations on both sides of the puck, and should be a player that develops and emerges into a productive offensive player during his time in Cranbrook.”

Marmulak is committed to Cornell University for the 2026/27 season.
