Cranbrook to get new overhead pedestrian lights

Crews are installing a new set of pedestrian-activated crossing lights along Highway 3 at the intersection with Cranbrook Street.

City officials said the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is busy installing the lights following support from Cranbrook.

According to the city, there is more work to come.

“This is the first project in a continued push from the city for improved active transportation infrastructure and highway upgrades in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure,” said city staff.
