The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) approved funding for 138 projects over the next year.
The money comes from the Columbia Basin Trust’s ReDi (Resident Directed) Grants and is administered by the RDEK.
“The approved 2024/2025 projects represent over $1.2 million in funding that will support a wide range of unique, valuable and impactful projects across our region,” said RDEK Board Chair Rob Gay.
“These funds truly shape the vibrancy of our communities and we are incredibly grateful to the Trust for their continued support of the ReDi Grants program.”
The RDEK board approved the funding after considering public input and recommendations from municipalities and Electoral Area Directors.
