A wildfire is out of control east of Elko, but is not threatening any communities.
The blaze was discovered on June 13 and is located along the McLatchie Forest Service road.
The BC Wildfire Service believes it’s human-caused and it was last measured at approximately four hectares.
There are no evacuation alerts or orders in effect currently.
