Cole Fournier of the Fernie Ghostriders will be continuing his hockey career with the University of Victoria Vikes.
Fournier was with the team for three seasons tallying 20 goals and 35 assists for 55 points in 109 games.
“I was ready for any situation that my team needed me for and continued being a factor defensively, while leading by example as a two-way player,” said Fournier in a release.
“Fernie has helped me over the last three years to improve my game and mold me into the player I am now. My experience will be one that I won’t ever forget and I can thank my teammates and coaching staff for that.”
He was also a big part of leading the Ghostriders to the Teck Cup Final this season putting up 5 goals and eight assists in 21 games.
