Multiple FireSmart events are starting up to help residents with fire mitigation work before the upcoming wildfire season.
A community debris bin event starts today in Kragmont and will last until June 10.
Residents can dispose of yard waste in a bin located in the cul-de-sac of Conroy Road.
A work bee event is scheduled for June 1 in Indian Beach Estates. Volunteers and neighbours will be working together to remove flammable vegetation from their neighbourhood.

Another bin event will go ahead from June 7-17.
This one is in Wardner and a bin will be located on Wardner-Kikomun Road.
