Police in Cranbrook will be joining Special Olympics athletes and other members of the community for the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
Detachments across B.C. will take part between May 25 and June 9, with Cranbrook’s being held on June 1.
The run will start and end at Rotary Park and there will be a BBQ by donation with proceeds going to athletes with intellectual disabilities.
The run has been going on for over 35 years and over $5 million has been raised.
