The City of Cranbrook is asking for input from families and parents on what they would like to see for the future of childcare needs in the City.
Cranbrook has partnered with Creative Childcare Consulting to offer a survey to the public.
“Through our engagement process, we’ve had excellent input from the city, childcare professionals and business and community groups,” said Diane McKean, co-CEO of Creative Childcare Consulting. “This is another opportunity for parents and families, those most affected, to tell us what support would most help them.”
The City said that Creative Childcare Consulting has been brought on to help develop one, five and 10-year childcare plans. The company will be working with residents and local groups to create a plan to address childcare challenges in Cranbrook.
The survey is available online, here. Hard copies are available at the Child Care Resource and Referral Centre, Cranbrook City Hall, or at the pool desk at Western Financial Place.
The survey will be available from November 25, 2019, to December 6, 2019.
