Downed power lines have sparked two fires off of Mission Wasa Low Road and as a precaution, an evacuation order has been issued.
ʔaq̓am officials said all residents along Mission Road and Mission Wasa Low Road are to evacuate.
Residents are asked to evacuate via Emergency Egress Road.
Police will be expediting the evacuations and drivers are asked to follow all road directions.

One of the fires is already reported as being around 100 hectares and has been labelled a wildfire of note.
Evacuees are asked to register with Emergency Social Services as the health centre at 7470 Mission Road.
The First Nation is also asking the public to stop coming out to the community and to stay clear of emergency vehicles.
