Columbia Valley SAR conducts helicopter rescue

The Columbia Valley Search and Rescue responded to a medical call at the Applebee Campground in Bugaboo Provincial Park on Monday morning.

Because of the urgency of the call, CMH-heli responded first.

SAR officials said they were able to stabilize the subject until CVSAR arrived.

Glacier Helicopters Invermere helped transport the patient to the hospital.
