Cranbrook Fire department supervising planned burn

A pile-burning project is underway on the east end of Cranbrook and the fire department is on the scene to supervise.

Fire department officials said property owners are reducing fuel loads from a recent harvest project.

They said the venting index is good, so the smoke shouldn’t be too bad.

Crews will be onsite to make sure the burn is appropriately supervised.
