COTR Creston campus launching HERizons program

College of the Rockies’ Creston campus is launching a new program with Seneca College that focuses on advancing women’s careers.

College officials say the HERizon program will provide women with access to targeted workshops (in-person and online), virtual reality simulation learning, business math and English courses, career development sessions, networking events, and microgrants for female entrepreneurs.

“The College is proud to be part of this important initiative to assist women who are transitioning in their careers or starting a business as our economy and workforce recover from COVID,” said Leah Bradish, Director, Campus Operations, Continuing Education, and Contract Training.

“Opportunities for free training, upgrading, and mentorship for these women is an important first step in getting them back on the path to meaningful careers.”

College officials said most of the content will be available online, but there will be regional in-person events scheduled throughout the year.

Registration information can be found using the link below.
