Semi-truck rollover leads to Edgewater power outage

Nobody was injured when a semi-truck rolled over along Highway 95.

Officials with BC Hydro said the crash also knocked out power to customers between Edgewater and Spillimacheen.

RDEK officials said the semi-truck left the road and hit a power pole near Columbia Road in Edgewater.

The highway was closed for a few hours while firefighters and other first responders were on the scene Tuesday afternoon.
