The Radium Hot Springs Fire department was kept busy Tuesday evening extinguishing a chimney fire.
Firefighters arrived on the scene just after 6 p.m.
According to department staff, crews worked well into the night because chimney fires are often stubborn in nature.
They made sure any remaining embers were extinguished.
An engine was left at the scene with two crew members on fire watch.
