Cranbrook RCMP is looking for the driver of a vehicle that was believed to be involved in a hit-and-run along Cranbrook Street North.
Police officials said the driver of a grey sedan was heading south around 1 p.m. on Oct. 17 when a vehicle on the inside lane began drifting.
The drifting vehicle struck the grey sedan on the driver’s side and did some damage.
Cranbrook RCMP officials said the driver of the grey vehicle pulled into a nearby parking lot, expecting the other driver to follow, but they did not.
“We are looking to speak with the driver of a small red hatchback,” said Cst. Katie Forgeron, Cranbrook RCMP spokesperson. “We were able to get video surveillance of the area and are asking anyone who can identify the red vehicle to call the Cranbrook RCMP.”
