B.C.’s Budget 2023 consultation process has opened, with the public being invited to share suggestions.
Provincial government officials said B.C. residents can submit their thoughts through writing or through an online survey. You have until June 24 at 3 p.m. Pacific time to submit comments.
Staff said public hearings will begin next Monday, with the presentation of Budget 2023 Consultation Paper by the minister of finance.
“The committee will carefully consider all input received and intends to release its report with recommendations for the next budget in August 2022,” said B.C. government officials.
Feedback will be reviewed by the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services.
“The committee, currently made up of MLAs from government and the official Opposition, holds an annual public consultation to hear from British Columbians about their ideas and priorities for the next provincial budget,” said B.C. government officials.
