On Saturday night, the Kimberley Dynamiters were forced to cancel their game against the Golden Rockets due to unforeseen mechanical issues.
The game was initially scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5, but was called off within hours of the slated time.
The City of Kimberley says the sudden cancellation came as a result of an unexpected issue with the refrigeration system.
It says a pinhole leak in a valve triggered a low-level ammonia alarm, prompting the rescheduling.

According to the City, contractors have since replaced the valve and the Civic Centre has reopened as of the following Sunday morning.
The Dynamiters will face off against the Golden Rockets at the Civic Centre at 7:00 pm on Tuesday.
